The "A Christmas Joy" campaign has been documented since 2015 and has become a tradition of the Xtreme Adventure Baia Mare club. Members load up their 4×4 vehicles with parcels and set off into the remote areas of Maramureș, where the ordinary roads end.

What the crews carry

  • Basic food supplies
  • Toys for children
  • School supplies
  • Meat products prepared by club members

Who the parcels reach

In the documented 2015 edition, the campaign reached 35–40 families in need from rural areas of Maramureș - Remeți, Baia Sprie, Dumbrăvița, Rus, Făurești, Poșta.

How it unfolds

On Friday evening the donations are gathered - money, food, toys, school supplies. On Saturday morning the crews set off on their routes and hand out the parcels directly to the families. The 4×4 vehicles reach places others cannot - exactly as the campaign was envisioned.

"For us, the willingness and the involvement are what matter." - Carol Blavenstein, president

We bring a touch of joy to the faces of children and the elderly - that is the true meaning of the holidays.
