The club was founded in 2006. In 2013 it hosted, for the first time in Maramureș, a stage of the National Off-Road Championship.
Each year the club organises either a National Off-Road Championship stage or the Maramureș Cup. For 2026: the 4th NC stage - "Trofeul Maramureșului Royal Alpin", 9-12 July.
